The towel layer is noticeably softer than the waterproof pad I used before, which makes those middle-of-the-night changes a little less jarring for my baby. Absorbency has been great so far, and it washes up without any stiffness.
The base layer stays perfectly in place during wiggly changes, which I didn't expect from a towel-style insert. The natural fabric feels gentle on my baby's skin and absorbs messes without soaking through to the pad underneath.
This insert is noticeably thicker than the pads I was using, and the natural toweling actually grips my baby’s wriggly legs a bit so they don’t slide around mid-change. Absorbency’s been solid through a few surprise leaks, and it washes up soft without any pilling after a week of daily use.
