The curve shape holds my baby so securely during tummy time, and the muslin cover is incredibly soft against her cheeks. She actually falls asleep in it now, which never happened with the flat mat we tried before.
The petal pattern is even prettier in person, and the slight curve means my baby stays put while I grab a coffee without me having to wedge a blanket around her. It's the first lounger that actually feels like it was thought through for real babies, not just for looks.
The curve holds her snugly enough that she finally naps on her own, and the petal cover is the softest thing I've touched. Feels like a genuinely well-made piece that will last through the newborn months.
